How can you take a screenshot on the Nook HD, Nook HD+, Tablet, Color?

1) Press down the Volume Down button and the physical N button at the EXACT same time.

2) For Nook Color and Tablet – this is enough.

2b) For Nook HD and Nook HD+ – You have to keep them held for 2 seconds.

Nook HD has volume buttons on the right side (right edge). The Volume Down button is the lower one.

Nook HD has the physical N button at the front of the device. It’s below the screen and looks like a lower case N.

Press and hold both at the EXACT SAME TIME. Then keep them pressed for 2 seconds.

You will see a screenshot preview and then it will go away. This confirms a screenshot has been taken.

Nook HD+ has the physical N button at the front of the device. It’s below the screen and looks like a lower case N.

Press and hold both at the EXACT SAME TIME. Then keep them pressed for 2 seconds.

Please Note: The Volume Down button on the top edge of the Nook HD+ is slightly hard to press. So ensure you have pressed down hard.

You will see a screenshot preview and then it will go away. This confirms a screenshot has been taken.

At the bottom right of the Quick Status Bar at the bottom of the page you’ll get a little photo icon. You might also get a sound notification. This means the screenshot has been taken.

After 2-3 second at the bottom right of the Quick Status Bar at the bottom of the page you’ll get a little photo icon with ‘Screenshot Taken’ written next to it. There will also be a quick sound notification. Please Note: This happens after a few seconds. Not immediately.

Nook Tablet and Nook Color – Plug your Nook into your PC. Go to the ‘Screenshots’ folder on your Nook.

Nook HD and Nook HD+ – Plug your Nook into your PC. Go to the Pictures>Screenshot folder on your Nook.
